Of Mice and Men - A novel example of the truth that "love is blind"

A few things in this world have managed to mystify man since the beginning of time, and perhaps the concept that has captivated and bewildered people more than any other is that of “love.” After all, it can’t be truly defined, limited, or explained, and yet its obvious presence and effects throughout life are undeniable. Love is felt between family members, lovers, and friends throughout time. And it always seems to make people do, say, think, feel, and perceive things that cannot be explained to anyone else, and the resulting events often seem like madness to everyone – everyone, of course, except the ones who feel that love. This is why so many people believe that “Love is blind.” There is no way to explain through reasoning why some people love the ones they do, or accept things about the other person, or any of the other crazy stories that seem to happen every day.
