Of an untouchable cheese

For centuries, homo sapiens have considered themselves superior to all other creatures. Believing this idea, humans have become arrogant and greedy, and they have begun to exploit the land and others for their own benefits. Restrained by education and law, humans have not crossed the line from morality to animalization, but in order for to satisfy their desires, brutal and animal-like behaviors have been repeated by human. In J.R.R. Tolkien¡¦s The Hobbit, Smuag¡¦s image symbolizes a mouse, leading itself to death when it has been trying to steal the cheese (greed) from a gigantic mousetrap (arrogance), and at the same time, it also indicates how greed and arrogance will lead human to destruction.
