The Necessity for War
All that evil needs to prevail is for good men to do nothing. As our nation is at war, we must all remember this saying as well as why we are at war. With the brutal dictator Saddam Hussein holding weapons of mass destruction in his possession and providing safe haven to terrorists, doing nothing could have drastic consequences. The only way to make America and other peace-loving countries secure is to have a complete, total disarmament of Saddam Hussein. He has had twelve years to disarm, but he has continued to defy the world by refusing to do so. Hussein has denied holding weapons and deceived the United States by destroying a few weapons in public, then secretly making and hiding more. Saddam Hussein's denial and deception has led to the necessity of taking military action against him and his regime.
