My First Wreck

It was already two forty; there was no way I was going to make it to work on time. I don't know how I always let the time slip away, its like I am meant to be late for everything. There I was with only twenty minutes to get to work. It was only Thursday and I had already been late for work twice that week, and the last thing I wanted was to get another ear full from my boss. So I jumped into my car, peeled out of my driveway and flew down the street.
I drove a Honda Accord that had been my mothers until I turned sixteen. It was a light tan color, but it was hard to tell due to all of the dents and scratches that I had given it in the short time since I had received my license. Already in a bad mood, the intense heat only made me angrier. The sun beat down on me, seeming to bake me inside of my car. My car had no air-conditioning, so in an attempt to save myself from heat exhaustion I immediately rolled down the windows. Despite the air flowing into my car, I could feel tiny ...
