My Critique of Mill?s ?Utilitarianism?

In Mill?s theory of ?Utilitarianism?, he has made quite a few interesting points to back his theory. Many of which are very unfounded for many reasons. I will focus on one. The main theory of his that I see as false is the, ?On the connection between justice and utility?. In this passage he states that if you commit a crime a faulty, or a person is injured, you should be punished to satisfy the victim?s party. This is a flawed statement in many ways. What if an innocent person is tried and sentenced for something he or she didn?t do just so people can have somebody to blame for the crime committed. The people who the crime was committed against are ?happy?, but an innocent person is being punished for something...
