Mutual Aid

Cooperation is very important to all aspects in life. It is responsible for the majority of all interactions in our lives. Cooperation is essential in order to perform the functions necessary to achieve any goal. Cooperating with others to make accomplishments is critical because it completes a goal easier than doing it alone. Without cooperation, there would be hardships and struggles developing in any situation. By looking at Huckleberry Finn and Jim, sports teams, and the student-teacher relationship in the school environment, it is obvious that cooperation benefits any event.
Huck and Jim supported each other’s goals and that is why their journey was simple. Huck needed Jim’s cooperation in order to stay out of reach of Pap and Widow Davis. It would have been effortless for Jim to report that Huck was alive, and not dead as the world assumed. However, Jim cooperates with him, and so Huck was able to remain a low-profile life.
