People are determined everyday. Without determination, nothing would be accomplished. All the great minds in the world had a strong drive of determination. To them, there was no giving up until what they set out to do was accomplished. By quitting hockey, golfing for money, and not being susceptible to other peoples criticism, Happy Gilmore proves his determination.
When Happy hears that the IRS is about to repossess his grandmothers house, he immediately starts finding a way to make money to buy it back.
