Sometimes we think parents are being mean when they are only trying to protect us.
It was my friend’s birthday. She was going to have a slumber party, and I asked my mom if t could stay the night but she said no.
I was in fifth grade when my friend invited me to her slumber party for her birthday. I was so excited, knowing that my other friends were going to be there. I did not think of anything else but wanting to be there with the rest of my friends that were going to be there.
