Why does the Christian Church disapprove of divorce?

For some reasons marriages don't work, and couples decide to separate. In some cases divorce can leave lonely, upset children. Christian believe couples can save relationships whatever the problem may be. They believe that marriage is a long-life teaching union of couples, and is indissoluble. But in some cases separation is the only answer.
In the Bible, Jesus doesn't approve of divorce. He sees marriage as when 'twain shall be one flesh'. In other words two become one. Think of it as a jigsaw puzzle, male is one piece and female is the other. There are loads of other pieces of different puzzles(also male and female).
