How does management evaluate what is the most appropriate type of hardware for their needs? Hardware is the equipment and devices that make up a computer system as opposed to the programs that are used on it. Hardware is part of the major areas of information systems needed by business professionals in today’s every day life. The concept or hardware resources include all physical devices and materials used in information processing. It not only includes machines, such as computers and other equipment, but also all data media, that is tangible objects on data which are recorded, from sheets of paper to magnetic or optical desks.
