Hypothesis

'The lack of youth provision of youth facilities in South Normanton and Pinxton is creating a problem within the local community. Improved local amenities would solve the problem for all concerned.'

Facilities in the Local Area

In the local area there is a local club, motorbike, cyber-cafe, parks and 2 football clubs. Most of these facilities are run down and of a low quality.

I would like to see these things in the local area skate-park, graffiti wall, better parks, under-16 clubs, snooker hall and some others. Some of these things have been considered and work has started on a skate-park but work stopped four months ago. In my opinion this shows that the council knows there is a problem and know how to create solutions for this problem but aren't committed to finishing the work they do.

One problem is that the Local Council thinks that it has already provided some facilities in Alfreton but to get there it costs a £1.50...
