When I first read “The Little Prince”, I was not sure what I should think of a book that was known as “enjoyable for all ages.” When I was reading the last part, I got teary-eyed at first. But then I realized that there was no reason for me to cry because I did not understand a lot of symbolisms from the book. So I decided to read it all over again and focus on the symbolisms. I have read the book eight times already and everytime I peruse it, I learn something new.
“The Little Prince” is a children’s book that has an adult’s story. Reading it is relearning what it means to be a child. It is about a story of a man and the lessons he learns from a wide-eyed innocent. The story makes me appreciate the simple things in life and discover the vast differences between children and adults. It, also, is an eye-opener because it instills in me the notion of how vain the world can be at times, and most grown-ups are responsible for this. This book not only makes me rethink ...
