Life Changing Illness
My life changing illness in 1991 that changed my life.
I will never forget my illness, which first began on December 8, 1991. I was getting ready for Christmas to be held at our house that year (our includes: me, mother, and my nephew Damein). Damein, I, and my neighbor Daryl began the task of cleaning, painting, and redecorating. All this, took three week to finish. I began to feel very bad all over my body during the last week of work. This is the illness in 1991 that changed my life.
My mother had the task of preparing the food, so I was determined to get everything in order and out of the way. I endured the pain and kept going, until the night that I was severely surging with pain; I just couldn’t go any further. Still trying to hide it from my mother and my nephew, I stayed in my room. My mother began to miss me, came to the door of my room, and yelled my name. I barely could say ma’am to her. She knew that something was horribly wrong.
