Lewis and Clark – A Leadership Evaluation

As Lewis and Clark embarked on their voyage, they had one of the most demanding tasks ever assigned to the United States Army. It was only through extensive planning, good communication, and great leadership that such a task could ever have been accomplished the way it was.
Below will be an evaluation of what the pair of officers did and how it fits with the current leadership dimensions of the United States Army. They were and are an excellent example of leadership in the face of hardship, while putting mission first, people always.
Although both Lewis and Clark possessed different temperaments and talents, they seemed to be one person when making a significant decision.
