Spain and Portugal does not see us Latin Americans as citizens under their rule. They think of us as having just one single purpose to make them rich and powerful. Our gold, silver, and priceless forestlands are what make their country rich while ours remain poor. The catholic priests preach not to make us devoted Catholics, but to make us loyal to the crown. Our trade has many restrictions and our taxes are unbelievably high. We should not have to take this anymore!
