Islamic Religion

Muslims can be from any nation or race right around the world. Islam is an international faith. There are many differences between the Muslim faith and Christianity. I will go into detail about the differences and also explain the basics of this great religion.

Muslims believe that Jesus was the great prophet. They believe that god has always sent prophets to mankind as messengers. Muslims believe that Mohammad was the last prophet. His message has been preserved in the Muslims holy book called the Qur’an. Muslims believe that Jesus was a messenger from God, where as Mohammad was given the Qur’an from the angel Gabriel. This is the distinct difference from the Muslims belief compared to the Christianity beliefs.

The Qur’an is the Muslims holy book, just like the Bible is ours. The Qur’an was written in Arabic. They believe the Qur’an is the word of god, exactly as Angel Gabriel revealed it to Muhammad. Muhammad could not write, he chose people to write it down. Today ...
