Is lying as bad as stealing?

Although lying is quite a bad behavior, it still can¡¯t compare with stealing which is a crime. As far as I am concerned, everyone has lied in one¡¯s life, however only a few people have ever stolen. In truth, lying is not as bad as stealing.
