Iraqi Nationalism vs. U.S. Nationalism

Despite the immense quarrels that forthright separate our nation from Iraq’s, both countries have a robust sense of allegiance to their own land. But this sense of allegiance can be alike and different in many ways. Even though they both show great devotion, they have different interpretations of their homeland’s supremacy. All of these mostly depend on the format in which the anthems are written themselves.
Although these two nations are separated by almost two thousand miles of vast blue ocean, both of their anthems are written in a way to demonstrate the great glory and determination of the country it stands for. Both give a clear, upright understanding of the purpose of being part of this wonderful planet. Our country, the United States, mostly wants liberty and tranquility between its very own citizens and the whole world. Iraq’s main goal is to eternally expand its glory and pride as a whole nation.
