Independence

There were many events that led up to the idea of independence. If I had to choose three I would first choose the Proclamation Line of 1763, then the Sugar Act of 1764 and finally the Stamp Act of 1765.
The Proclamation Line of 1763 was set to the Americas where colonsits could not cross over the Appalachain mountains. At frist the colonists were fine with this and thought of it as a way to ease the minds of the indians. When Britian decided to expand it's army into the west with 7,500 men the colonists began to get angry because they felt that the British didn't trust them.
