If a Body Catch a Body Coming Through the Rye

The Catcher in the Rye is about a native New Yorker Holden Caulfield. Holden is a sixteen year-old student at Pencey Prep; he has just been expelled for academic failure. One night he decides to leave the school and go underground in New York City. It is fictional story written by J.D. Salinger. This novel also contains some literary archetypes like characters, actions, and places.
There are a few archetypal characters in this novel. Holden Caulfield is the hero of this one. He is not the kind of hero that goes out to save the day. “I saw something that drove me crazy.
