I work for Aames Home Loan, which was established in 1954 to act as a loan brokerage firm. Today, Aames is a diverse organization that employs approximately 1,500 employees throughout the United States. Because of number of employees working in different offices, it is essential that personnel needs as well there be a Human Resources Department capable of handling the needs of its employees.
One of the tools used by the Human Resources Department is the Employee Handbook. The handbook is given to every new employee on his or her first day. The handbook is also updated periodically. The handbook includes information on company benefits, compensation, categories of employment, standards of performance and conduct requirements, as well as other relevant information to ensure conformance to the polices and procedures developed by Aames.
