Leukemia
Leukemia is a one of malignant tumor, which tends continually to spread, to become generalized in different parts of the body, and to recur after extirpation, and which, if left to it self, causes death.

Leukemia is a malignant disease of the bone marrow and blood characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of white blood cells. Leukemia is said to be chronic or acute.
Acute leukemia progresses quickly and generally affects cells that are not yet fully developed. These immature cells therefore cannot fully carry out their normal functions.
Chronic leukemia on the other hand progresses slowly and permits the growth of more mature and functional cells. Leukemia affects lymphoid cells, a type of white blood cell responsible for producing antibodies and protecting the body against invading organisms, this type is called lymphocitic leukemia. Myelogenous Leukemia affects all other types of blood cells besides lymphocytes.
