Horror

What is it about the human psyche that seeks out thrills, innate fears and the feeling of helplessness? Why do we relish the sensation of fear? Of our flesh crawling? Of our minds frozen with fear?

Horror stories has been with us far longer than we can remember. From the grim tales of the Brothers Grimm; the sickening sweet fairy tales of Hans Christian Anderson; to the latter day reality-jarring writings of Clive Barker. These storytellers have one common objective, and this is to scare the living daylights out of its reader through the simple means of a beginning, a middle and an end.
