Old stories are the best: that is precisely what the Coen brothers determined somewhere while completing the script for O Brother, Where Art Thou? This huge hit, that has won more than a few awards, is based on Homer’s epic, the Odyssey. It is an interpretation of the Odyssey set in the 1930’s Mississippi. It is Homer in the deep south.
