1. September 1930: Nazis gained 107 seats on Reichstag.
The Nazi party had plenty of advantages over some of the other parties
- Well organised
- Strong leader
Reaction of the Weimar Government was crucial-Bruning was most concerned with the threat from the left so he overlooked the threat from the nazis
-Never been in government (not associated with the republic)
-Particularly strong Nationalistic programme
-Membership was strong and growing
