Anton Rosicky, a main character in the short story “Neighbor Rosicky”, is a complicated man who has lived a simple life. His physical features are as gentle as a feather. While his actions tell that his life as made him strong and has taught him to show love to every person that he will meet. The people around him feel this love and return this love. While Rosicky has lead a hard life he is laid back and relaxed.

Anton’s gentle features tell much about his personality. Rosicky’s gentle eyes were immense and full of life. Also his eyes were like a deep ocean. His tan face, creased but not wrinkled, was kind and reflected the love he felt for others. His clean- cheeks were a ruddy color also present in his lips. Above these lips was a long, full, mahogany mustache a contradiction to his thinning silver hair, which was ragged around the ears. Anton’s hands were strong and warm and he was always to extend a friendly hand.
