Growing up

“Grow Up”! This is a comment often used when a person is acting immaturely or if someone thinks you are not acting your true age. It of course is not possible to grow up any faster, but many people consider themselves as being “grown up” or more mature than others.

The stages of growing up are separated into different categories of the following a baby, infant, child, teenager and an adult. The first obviously being a baby, however as no one can really remember themselves being a baby it can sometimes be hard to explain what it is really like. The only way people know how babies act is by watching other ones and this is how we learn about their behaviour. When a baby is born it is completely helpless and relies on its mother to care for it. During this process mothers form very strong bonds with their child and so starts one of the most important relation ships of growing up which is between parents and their children.
