“Come on Diana, look at how beautiful!” I screamed as I ran towards the mile long fields of tulips in the country of Holland. They were red, pink, orange, and even purple with neon green leaves and stems. My sister and I ran as fast as our little legs could carry us, which was not very fast considering I was seven and my sister was five. Although it was eight years ago, I can remember this like it was yesterday. There are places and experiences from growing up in Europe that I will never forget. People I’ve seen, animals I’ve touched, and some of the most beautiful places on earth I saw with my own eyes in Europe. It is unexplainable how different life here is from Europe. Moving back to America has got to be the largest change in my life so far. However, there are certain memories and feelings that stay in a distinct place in my heart and memory that I will hold onto forever.
