George Mason University Dance Company

Finally, I had the opportunity to see the beautiful George Mason dance team perform. I have seen them practicing in the gym but I always wanted to see how good they really are. I thought the dance team was marvelous after seeing their concert in the Harris Theater on Thursday night. This concert was definitely the high light of my evening and I would certainly see them perform again. I enjoyed this dance more than the Georgian State dance mainly because I sat in the first row and got a really close view of the Mason Dance team. This program only included six dances and it lasted an hour and a half.
The show had begun with filling the building with darkness. The stage lid up with a slow background music mixed with some hip-hop beats. The spotlight shinned on five girls standing in a circle in front of a relaxing red background. The girls wore black tank tops and red pants without any shoes.
