The ancient Greeks attempted to understand themselves and peoples around them by asking the question, “Why?” This produced an intense love of intellectualism and rational thought. The question that I have is, “Why are some people more athletic than other people?” The question is mind boggling and their really is no answer. However, I came up with some different ways of viewing the question.
Whenever I turn on the Television and watch sports games I always say to myself, “Why can’t I have the skills that this person has?” Some people say that people are the way that they are because of genetics. There is a good chance that if your parents are athletic then you or your brother or sister will be as well. However, there are parents out there with no athletic ability but their son or daughter has amazing athletic talent.
