General Myers and the War in Iraq

General Myers thinks that people who think war is wrong at this point are absolutely wrong. He thinks that people should not protest because there are American soldiers at war, and it would be harmful to those fighting because they are fighting bravely and courageously. The troops in Iraq are changing course straight to Baghdad. The General in command (Tommy Franks) will not have to consult the president when he finally reaches Iraq and invading. He has not yet decided a tactical advantage but is sure he will develop one in the right time when he knows all the conditions in their destination.
I think that General Myers is absolutely right. I don’t think that anti war protests mean much anymore. The war is underway and it cannot just stop. And instead of being against the war (showing it) we should actually support the troops who are fighting because no matter what we think about the war on the home front, it will not change the fighting that is going on in the Middle E...
