Gender Stereotyping

Gender Stereotypes are an individual's set of beliefs about the characteristics or attributes of both sexes. I believe that the stereotype for each gender is based IN RELATION TO the opposite gender. To state a few of the female gender stereotypes in one word, females are frail, emotional, submissive, dependant and indecisive; but this is all in relation to the Male. The female is stereotyped as frail in comparison to the male; he is stronger. The male is stereotyped as dominant and aggressive relativistically to the female; she is submissive. This relativism applies to all of the gender stereotypes of males and females.

Men and Women love to exaggerate their differences and the traits that signify their gender, going about it with the belief that the highly exaggerated gender stereotype is an extremely attractive reflection of their masculine or feminine natures.
