SECTION A-PLANNING

Eight precautions that are required in planing the safe use of a mobile scaffold tower to install ventilation fans in the garden centre are as follows.
(a) You should check all components for damage.
(b) Make sure that there is firm level greened to erect the tower on.
(c) That there is a safe height for the erection and working from the tower and the maximum height should not exceed 3 times the width of the narrow side, also if the tower exceeds 6.4m the tower should be tied to the building or have an outrigger fitted. That you follow the instruction and that it is erected correctly.

(e) That it is fitted with toe boards and that these are at least 150mm high and hand rails are fitted as well and that they are between 920mm to 1150mm above the working platform.

(f) That support legs are fitted correctly so ...
