From lust 'Till Death

Everyone has something they want, something they’d give anything for. Sone people waste their whole lives trying to find or get this object of their desire, while others stand still and hope it will fall into their laps. Either way, both groups of people find that in the end, their lust for this object takes over them until their death. Greed, one of the deadliest sins, is the basic theme found in Lawrence’s “The Rocking Horse Winner.”
Paul’s mother’s greed took over the whole house. Soon the house began to whisper to the children. A scared, stale stare could be found on the children’s faces each time the whisper reached their ears. The whispers grew louder and louder until even the dolls were sayi...
