It is now the month of October, and even though I’ve only been at URI for almost two months, I have learned a lot of things. One of the biggest pieces of advice I would give to an entering freshman is a day before your classes start, find the locations of the classes. I unfortunately did not do this, and I found myself in a panic on the first couple of days. A good thing to remember is to be on time for these classes. Despite what many people think, a lot of professors actually do care if you are on time or not. Just like in high school, you will get reprimanded in front of the class for this, which can be pretty embarrassing.
