Freedom.

The long awaited call signals the end of an era. The electrifying cheers from the neighbouring rooms echo down the hallway and triggers an uplifting buzz around me. I can’t help but be seduced by the roar; I bellow out a piercing shrill. The strong chorus is deafening, never have I heard such a ruckus. Soon the thunderous sounds die down and the scene quickly turns to a blank silence. The feeling is now one of a shocking tranquillity.
