Frankenstein - Gothic Horror and Sci Fi

It is a fact that, “To create a fictional world that seems real to the reader, novelists use five main elements; plot, characters, conflict, setting and theme.” The book Frankenstein has been labeled science fiction and gothic horror because, most elements of the story are similar or the same, as the elements of these two literary genres. Science fiction and Gothic Horror events, subjects, characters and crises are found in the book Frankenstein. One can discover this in further reading.
Mary Shelly’s novel Frankenstein has been called the first “science fiction” novel. This is because the elements in the novel and the elements of the literary genre are the same.
