Finding the heart

Life is like a dance performance. You train and sweat hard all year before you have your single moment of glory on stage. Finally the time comes when you enter the stage with that big smile; sometimes it is genuine, and other times it is the one you shoved in your pocket earlier that morning for moments like this, when you can’t truly show your feelings.
After you enter the stage with that smile, you are hit with the spotlight. It is shining directly on you; there is no where to run, no where to hide, only hundreds of strangers, a camera, and several front row judges waiting to tear every aspect of your performance apart. They know nothing of your training, or how long you have worked.. You are on the big screen for everyone to see, and the only thing they know is what you show them at that moment.
