For the event that each person went through, they did not look shocked, or even thankful to be alive. These people do not seem to realize what almost happened to them; or they don’t care. One of the pictures shows a woman laughing after the car she was in was totaled. These pictures are ironic. You would think that these people would be scared, but they are practically laughing, and sarcastic about the event that could have taken their own lives and hurt others People are desensitized so much that they do not take death seriously.
Allison’s articles describe how a mother kills her children and some teenage boys lead a toddler to death. These articles show that life is not valued. When a mother can kill her defenseless children and a teenager can kill an innocent toddler for fun, one can tell that moral standards are declining rapidly. People look at life in having no absolute right or wrong.
