It is a common belief that the decline of fatherhood is one of the most basic, unexpected, and extraordinary social trends of our time. A shadow of a father on his son is as important as a pen is to a writer. Some fathering advocates say that almost every social ill faced by America’s children is related to fatherlessness (Kimir B1).
