The leading American scientist after
Benjamin Franklin , his chief scientific
contributions were in the field of
Electromagnetism. Where he
discovered the phenomenon of self-
inductance. The unit of inductance,
called the Henry, immortalizes his
Name.Henry was the son of a laborer
in Albany, New York he worked in a
general store with his mother.When he
got a little bit older he became an
actor then a scientist.
