Eva Luna Eva Luna is a very poignant novel about South Africa from the eyes of a woman growing up in a culture where the value of female respect was meager. Isabel Allende wrote the story in such a way that would keep the readers wondering what happens next. The story chronicles Eva Luna’s life, from when she is young and growing up in uncivilized Africa, to her adult life in urban South Africa.
