Euthanasia

What would you do if your mother was terminally ill and asked you to assist her in killing herself because she could no longer take the pain and suffering? She is going to die either way, so why not save her the pain and give her, her last dying wish. Assisting her in suicide, which is what the world calls euthanasia could help her reach her last desire in life. In the United States and most parts of the world Euthanasia is illegal which is absolutely wrong.
Assisting a person in suicide will put them out of misery. We could alleviate their uncomfortable bedridden life and grant them freedom from pain. Unfortunately today, we legally would not be able to give that person the last thing they would ever want in life. We could not fulfill their dying wishes because euthanasia or assisted suicide is looked upon as being selfish and immoral. Why should one be able to choose when to die if one was not able to choose when to be born? A person was not able to choose when to be born ...
