EuroDisney

Walt Disney, the founder of Disney, has always been deeply involved with Europe, borrowing many legends, fairy tales, ideas and even culture from the continent. So it was probably an easy decision for the Walt Disney Company during the mid-1980's to build their fourth Magic Kingdom back where Walt found so many of those tales that had inspired him. However, it was not until April 12th, 1992, almost 37 years after the first Disney park opened, that Euro Disneyland threw open its doors, giving Europeans a Magic Kingdom they could call their own. However, getting Euro Disney, or Disneyland Paris as it is now call, up and running was not an easy process.
