Philosophy of Service Paper

A defining moment in my life occurred by watching a movie. The movie was “jerry Maquire” which starred Tom Cruise and Cuba Gooding Jr. Tom Cruise is a sports agent in the movie and Cuba Gooding Jr is the athlete. Both the movie and sports management have caught my attention. As Tom Cruise is a sports agent in “Jerry Maquire” is the same as myself being a sports agent through Sports Management. Sports Management with it’s versatility has broaden the scope of my education and view of life.

The reason why I chose my major, is to become a sports agent. Due to the fact that I‘ve played sports all my life. Through sports management I feel that closeness of being with a sport . Plus as an athlete, and a sports agent to have the two go hand and hand. They interact so well with each other especially for an individual in my case who loves sports.
