When I heard about the AIDS walk I knew it was something I had to do. After my mother died of AIDS I knew I had to do something to help raise money to find the cure. I am skinny but also badly out of shape. I raised as much money as I could on a short notice. The 5-½ mile walk was harder than I had thought.
