“A dog is a man’s best friend.” That common saying may have some truth, but dogs aren’t the only animal friends whose companionship is enjoyed by people. For many people, a cat is their best friend. In fact, cats make better house pets than dogs.
Most dogs are dependent on others, when it comes to playing. Unlike cats, dogs need someone to play with. Whether it is another dog or a human, dogs generally enjoy playing with company. If you ever need a break from the responsibilities that your dog puts on you, can always take it to the dog park. There, dogs can play with other dogs while their owners take a breather from exercising them.
