Does God exist

Over the years, many philosophers tried to answer the question “Does God exist?” Different arguments and approaches were used to answer such question. Some of the philosophers who proposed their arguments are Descartes with his meditations, Anselm with his ontological argument – proslogion 2 and 3- and Aquinas’ 4th cosmological argument. Each argument has some similarity with Descartes’ 3rd meditation. However, I believe that Aquinas’ 4th cosmological argument is the one most similar because the similarity points are in the method and the pattern of reasoning which is the core of an argument. However, Anselm’s arguments only resembles Descartes’ in the examples used which are ideas and not objects from the external world and examples are just a way to prove an argument but they don’t form it.
