Lady Diana Spencer was a unique and widely known person. She was known not
only for her personal help to those in need, but for raising awareness for her many
charities. She was a woman much respected and admired, a mother greatly loved, and a
figure to whom many to this day still look up to. She was always a public figure hounded
by the press. We as a nation, heard of her marital problems, and then later, her very
publicized divorce. Even later, when the Princess of Whales no longer held her official
title, the public still called her their princess. She helped numerous people with various
charities. She was a one a kind woman who, to this day, is still sorely missed. Although
a princess once upon a time, Diana had less than a fairytale beginning and ending.
