Design and Manufacturing in Industries

Whenever I think of the classes which I took in my undergraduate engineering education, there is one class which always almost jumps into my mind - "ME 588 - Design and Manufacturing in Industries". I can say that this particular class was the most interesting class I have every taken. This class was different from all other classes in several ways. It was unique in itself.

First and the foremost, Dr. John Wood, the advisor for this class is my most favorite professor. He is the director of Manufacturing Engineering Program here at University of New Mexico. He is one of the most knowledgeable persons I have ever seen. He holds a Ph.D. degree from MIT. His style of teaching is very good and he always makes his classes more and more interactive.
